The Role

Our client is a Commonwealth entity seeking a an experienced Employment Lawyer at the Senior Associate level to join their Legal Services section to provide a broad range of employment law and regulatory advice to the team.

The Responsibilities

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be to provide advice on some or all of the following:

• employment law advising;
• advising on complex workplace issues such as workplace health and safety;
• general regulatory investigations and compliance advisory;
• assisting the team with difficult employment law questions; and
• litigation, disputes and other contentious matters.

The Requirements

Previous experience in Commonwealth employment practice and a current (or ability to quickly obtain) Practicing Certificate is essential.   

The successful candidate will be required to undergo additional security checks.
