Employment Lawyers - Baseline Clearance
Initial 6 month secondment with the possibility of extensions
The Role
We currently have multiple secondment opportunities for experienced Employment Lawyers within a high profile Commonwealth Department. The successful candidates will need to have skills and experience in advising on Commonwealth employment law.
The Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be required to work as secondees within the Department’s in-house legal team. High level stakeholder engagement skills are required as the successful candidates will be required to provide advice and assistance to a wide range of client areas.
Employment law practitioners with experience advising on transactional employment law issues in the public sphere, Public Interest Disclosures and / or advising on employment law dispute issues would be well suited to this role.
The Requirements
A Baseline Clearance and a current practising certificate (or the ability to obtain) and experience advising on Commonwealth employment law and the Public Service Act 1999 (Cth) is essential.
